Amazing factual movie. Excellent casting, right ppl for the right roles- half the battle was done. I also liked the concept of straight face story-telling, with just grappling with one key element i.e Screenplay. Minimalist and clean, u may say. Also the music, is also big contributing factor : it hurries the viewer and sets up anticipation that the 'very scene' is important in the context of the movie. Has a very 'zimmermanish' feel to it right from the opening sequence to the last credits. Technically brilliant, stands second to Godfather, in being loyal to the book and getting all its act together.
Well, as an experience : the takeaway chuckle is ' want to wat balls is: watch the movie ' especially for guys like us-entrepreneurs. But i dont how much one needs to read in to all these silicon valley success stories...almost all of them- windows, apple, now facebook:::have the elements - betrayal, forgery, lawsuits, manic obsessive disorders as key stepping stones for success. A far-cry from the idealist and bookish world. All of them seem 'fractured geniuses exploiting the situation to make it big: which by itself is genious'. Make u think, wat happnd to good old,,,,trust, hardwork,,etc. Well these we the pondering thoughts which the movie experience induced.
My only regret : SHOULD have watched it on the big screen.

grey slime

seems suspended in grey slime all around. Had nothing much to do, despite having too much to do. was zombied whole day: feeling like a day out of 'god of small things', and david gilmour's Blue also helping in submerge further.........suspended animation everywhere

Wanna Make it Large

Just feel like letting down my guard a bit, and indulge is some kite-flying...wanna a really make it big,,,be someone....how is it for starters........"let go a high-flying, lucrative MNC job with a great careerpath...started off working out of a laptop in a client's cubicle...shared living quarters with 5ppl in a 1500 sq.ft house and jst 200 sqft of personal space........" hope god helps me write this script as a successful and once-in-a lifetime journey, and help me be someone.....my efforts are already pledged!!!!!!

Quit TV

" Quit TV Movement " is something i need to seriously consider. this is such a time-sucker. its exactly like the colas- u know its bad, u know its enjoyable just for the moment, u know its doing you no good, u know there is so have much other better 'health' options and YET YOU INDULGE. come on,,,,u modern day SINS,,get-off me or is it I need to get-off them. The matter of fact is 24 hrs. Thats all we all get to have. and with so much to do on so many fronts, TV aint helping at all. Let SEE, how long the resolution lasts :-)

Opinions

Was just wondering about the key role of OPINIONS in one life. Despite the best addages which have been in place since ages, (to quote a few- to each his own, dog's tail is always...etc etc) an assessment of the time we spend in our lifetime- trying to put across/ substantiate/justify/ defend/explain our OPINION to the other person, is MIND NUMBING. The fact is we keep doing is day in day out,as if we are hardwired. Without this unconscious zombish indulgence of ours, world would have devoid of debates, books, news, arguments, and the best 'relationships' would have had a whole new dimension, which is so exciting to even unfathom. We would 'save' so many precious counts of time for better things in life.......cos, at the end of the day- irony rules , addages survive for the next generation,,since PEOPLE SIMPLY DO WAT THEY WANT TO DO.......just think about it,,the ratio of time u spend opining, and the Impact of the same.........

Dil to Baccha Hai Ji

Most predictable screenplay : the only let down : was wondering how come its been so non-creative : understood what 'hare-brained' writing means - 3 characters' happenings play musical chairs consistently: nonetheless it is the actors who deliver- the main take-away of the movie : every dialogue of shruti hasan is brilliant : genuine laughter scenes : in the end- much better movie from madhur- glad he is out of those cliche genre- but defenitely cant keep the gays out, can he ? Much better than Dhobi Ghat- characters are definetly relatable : light funny movie

Money money money

Finally after satiating my appetite of 'satisfaction', 'drive', 'passion', 'what the heart says', etc, reality is finally dawning on me- 'its all about money'. Yes, finally i am forced to look at the 'conventional' way of 'success'. The next five years will be crucial in this aspect, and come January : need to reset my compass altogether, as its simple what held good for 30yrs will no longer hold good for next 10 yrs. Certainly time to move on....embrace it for better than argue it....society rules at the end of the day!!!

Step ahead

Guess i am slowing realising the my key driving force at work. Well, its always has been ' rebel 2 differ ', it was always that 'this is what 99 people would do, how different can i do it'..But off late, i see another driver 'how can i stay one step ahead'- this seems to get embedded mainly in my time management exercise. How can utilise this moment to keep myself one step ahead of the lot, see more things than others, and see things which no one else is seeing. I hope this gives me the desired thrust to make my mark
