Dday

D- day is here. Finally the target is being achieved today, though there is no respite at all. Have a very hectic day. Hope to wind it up as planned. Need to catch up on sleep, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. Eitherways, the seeds have been sown. Just anxiously as well as desperately checking as to which door will open first, and high time it opens. Well the dilemma has always been the same few things- do you disturb equilibrium or not. Is the refuge of the equilibrium safe? Reality checks of driven by Means or End? The fucking gray matter just refuses and is never at equilibrium. I just hope all this turmoil is slowly unlocking a door somewhere for me!!!

Status Check

The past two weeks have been extremly stressful, and so do I foresee the coming 4 days. What's kind of alarming has been those acute which I have getting over the past two sundays. Had never experienced them before. Is it time to brace the reality- I AM STRESSED or is there still some soul searching to do. One good factor or conscious decision that has been taken is that 'no more secret life' the thought itself is so liberating. Come november and I will b done with it. Need a serious sabattical for a few years. Need to live, experience and enjoy that life too. Come to see of it, I still need to do things differently- but worrying factor is that the last month or so, show no indication of this. So let's see, eventually I need to do something aboutit and retrain myself from straying away..let's start from today.

The latest. Book

Well I read the revieww last fortnight in my newspaperm what caught my attention was the theme 'love and destruction'. Somehow this theme sounded quite cold and dark. The quest took me to reliance, star bazaar, and higginbothams, and in the process ended up buying two fiction by debut indian authors- one abt life in JNU and other pretty juvenile stuff called OH SHIT NOT AGAIN. Finally got it today at Gangaram. Was pretty excited. Hope it doesn't disappoint me.

Jaipur Rains

At last Jaipur had something to smile about. After days of withering heat, the skies clouded over around 4 pm on Wednesday and a storm packing wind speeds of 50 kmph lashed the city. This was followed by rain, which brought the mercury down. The storm was triggered by the depression which is now threatening to flood Barmer. But the relief to Jaipurites looks temporary. The Met has predicted clear skies on Thursday but held out hope that the maximum temperature may dip a bit. There was a low pressure in and around the Gujarat coastline which led to this sudden change of weather. This is just the effect of a temporary local disturbance and wont last long. Within the next 24 hours, the weather will return to normal
