Republic Day 3

Still an hour to go for brunch, decided to work on Cheeku’s concept. Kept doodling, though nothing happened, I managed to pass the time.
Lunch time, well !! Khicdi was the thing in my mind. Yet again, I tried the Cooker-cooking and yet again I failed miserably (15th time I guess) - with the rice sticking on to the bottom. After the appropriate curses, I settled down for my lunch. It was the setting, which help me tide over the failure bruises- Afternoon, Lunch with Floyd on my laptop, whatelse would this humble soul ask. Lunch was followed by large slices of Chocolate chips ice-cream. Two chapters from Malgudi Days- Naga and Selvi- lullabied me for a well
deserved siesta.

Republic Day 2

The previous night, managed to get some cartons from my breakfast hotel nearby. What I made out of them is shown in the photo. Key to the photo (B- Briefs, V- Vests, S- Socks, H- Hankies). After an hour with the cardpaper, glue, scale and cutter (didn’t I miss architecture), I was at some unexplainable peace with myself. All the while, I was accompanied by some Great music on my lap.

Republic Day

The day was, I term as a ‘perfect Goa holiday’!! Well Not the beach, but at the house. A phone call (from a prospective Landscape Contractor, seeking directions to our construction site), spiked me to wake up at 0945 hrs. A couple more attempts to get back to my dreamy world, failed. And, I resigned myself to the day. The ambience in and around the house was the same. Birds (The cock family already at work) chirping, an occasional but periodic ‘meow’ from the cat, Sun rays beating strongly on the bed, as if mocking at the frosted glass pane, meant to ‘cut-off’ the sunlight and not to mention swift cold winter currents, fleeting from various opening in the house ( the rigdes, the slits etc). The feel was too perfect for a slow, lethargic day. The first thing, I started, kept me busy for an hour. During which, I decided to go in for a brunch than a breakfast. My accessory clothings were in a state of mess (disorganized) since quite some time- given the fact that I have only one almirah for all the storage purposes. Clothes have an almost ‘Tresspassers will be prosecuted’ feel, in the almirah, where books are the customary rulers. The need to organize my necessary clothing was nagging for some time now.

Prashanth in goa

Hi folks, yes me back, after a self imposed sabbatical. Feels good to be back, and myself. My good'ol'friend Prashanth, had come down to Goa, for an inter-job break. It was great fun, visited the best of restaurants in S Goa- Martins, Peppers, Kokani etc etc. On the last day of the vacation, I took him and my new roommate vijay, to this cool place, known as a HILLSTATION or 3 Kings chapel, a real adventurous detour off the road to the airport, from where u can see miles and miles of open sea, with millions of coconut trees edging the beach. Its impossible to even imagine that the worlds best resorts with innumerable foreigners are down there. absoutely no hint of civilisation. The day ended with the famed picture perfect Goan sunset amidst local crowd in Colva............

Expression at 26

Yet another graphic to simple express my state of mind......there is a constant urge to be this 'odd man out','to rebel',' to be different'.BUT
the more u strive, the more the fact dawns on you that, u can never change or repel from the CAST or MOULD, something what u always aim at. But, all you can 'MAKE A DIFFERENCE', is highly consequential,,,,,and its just a matter of time,,,before you r realise that it was all BUT AN ILLUSION
